Congratulations! You have created an advertiser. Now it is time to create the segments you want to use for reporting and retargeting purposes. Being able to create different segments depends on the parameters you are going to be using within the Yieldr tag. Every parameter you add to the tracking pixel will automatically be available for case creation. If you are not planning on implementing a tag you can skip this step and go right to Creating Insertion Orders.
To start configuring parameters click the Demand > Advertisers section on the left side navigation. Select your advertiser and click the three dots on the right and select "edit advertiser" in the dropdown. Now navigate to the Parameter & Pixels Tab.
After filling in the general settings you can now add the parameters that you need. There is a list of standard parameters available here. If the parameter that you need is not available as a standard parameter, it is also possible to manually add it as a custom parameter. Instructions on how to do this can be found here.
If your website uses a cookie wall or consent form, it might give users the possibility to opt-out of being tracked. This can be done by either not loading the Yieldr Tag or by using the parameter cookies_allowed. The standard value is cookies_allowed=1. When a user explicitly doesn't give consent, you should set cookies_allowed=0. This opts the user out.
Once you've configured your parameters hit the "Save" button or press "Get Tracking Pixel" directly.
